But the potential market for this collection of - you guessed it - 18 of the Irish supergroup's singles has to be small by virtue of the band's awesome success.

Cue, then, two passable new tracks; The Saints Are Coming (with Green Day) and Window In The Skies, and a limited bonus DVD with 10 songs from a 2005 Milan gig.

Everyone will bemoan at least a couple of favourites being missed out (no Discotheque?! Angel Of Harlem?!!) but it's not bad at summing up 25 years of U2. 4/5
