THE biggest film of 2006 sees the gang reunited as they try to find the dead man's chest and save Captain Jack Sparrow from eternal damnation.
They are not the only ones searching for the chest, of course.
The second of the Pirates films was always going to bigger, bolder and brighter - in terms of ticket sales it is huge and no doubt the DVD will follow the same route.
But is it better? Unfortunately not. It is enjoyable, but overlong and quite dull in parts. Just don't expect too much. 3/5
