HITCHIN Folk Club has pulled off a real scoop by persuading international folk artist Seth Lakeman to visit the club and play a set at The Sun Hotel this Sunday evening.
Kitty Jay, Seth's last album, cost £300, was recorded in his brother's kitchen and landed him a nomination for the 2005 Mercury Music Prize alongside Coldplay and the Kaiser Chiefs.
He is now back touring to promote his stunning new album Freedom Fields and has agreed to visit Hitchin.
Tickets to see this genuine musical talent are £10/£12. Call 01462 812391 for more details.
