Finding himself in the woods three days before hunting season begins, Boog, a 900lb Grizzly bear, teams up with a fast-talking mule deer and recruits other forest animals to create a barmy army to fend off the hunters.
Like any animated film, computer or otherwise, Open Season ticks all the boxes: the amiable lead character and the fast-talking accomplice forming an unlikely partnership to fend of a common enemy.
The best way to describe Open Season would be to call it paint-by-numbers. 2/5
