IT'S a bit quiet on the music scene this week. I reckon that too many guitarists have eaten too many mince pies and too many plucking fingers have doubled in size.
However, saying that, Club 85 in Hitchin has quite a busy week and it all kicks off on Friday evening with Men of Unitus, They Don't Sleep, Flamboyant Bella and an acoustic set by Frog Stupid.
Then, on Saturday, The Felix Gig - a benefit gig for popular the local drummer (and hair stylist) who is on the mend following an aneurism of the brain - sees The New Town Centres, Summer House, Hazel Turnock and The Kramers on hand to raise the rafters.
The Art of Opposition, The Reprobates and Relentless make up the Sunday evening show, while next Saturday another NHSPH night sees the likes of Bossk, Olde Crone and My Devotion performing live at the Hitchin venue.
