Already huge in their native Sweden as well as much of Europe (Razorlight supported them in the continent last year), MD are aiming to break the UK market with this third album. On the evidence of these 18 tracks, they shouldn't have too much trouble, opening with a Libertines-y looseness and a definite air of being on the edge of falling apart. But there's more to these soulful Stockholm sinners than the jangly bonhomie of lead single Long Before Rock'n'Roll. With lyrics inspired by terrorists, Canadian ice hockey stars and weirdos met at aftershow parties, here is a canon of infectious pop-punk. 4/5
