MISS Potter follows the life and times of children's author Beatrix Potter, played by Renee Zellweger, and how she developed her story-writing skills and managed to stave off attempts to get her to marry just for the sake of it.
Playing an amiable English woman seems to be Renee Zellweger's forte and again she pulls off a quite likeable performance, though because it's Beatrix Potter the performance is far more restrained.
The film is beautifully shot but maybe a tad too slow. 3/5
