THE Settlement in Letchworth GC, in association with Maran Productions, will present Picasso and Me in March.

Picasso and Me is an enchanting tale about fathers and sons and is full of simplicity, honest charm and fun.

In the 1960s, a young lad on the hippy trail hitches a lift from a photographer who takes him to Picasso's house where Picasso paints the boy's portrait.

Fast forward to the present day and he thinks he sees this portrait in a junk shop in Paris - the same one Picasso painted all those years ago.

Of course, it couldn't possibly be, but this portrait reminds him of that day in the south of France. He remembers the paintings he saw in Picasso's house and begins to think about his own father and his own sons.

The play starts at 7.30pm on March 15 and tickets, at £10, are available from The Settlement on Nevells Road or David's Bookshop on Eastcheap.
