FORMER England footballer Jimmy Greaves is coming to The Gordon Craig Theatre in Stevenage on February 1 to talk about his time as a professional footballer.

Jimmy has one of the best goal-scoring records in history, scoring 357 goals in 516 games in the first division and 44 goals for England in 57 appearances.

Heavily laced with adult humour and great comic timing, Jimmy will take to the stage with special guest Martin Peters who was part of the 1966 World Cup winning team.

There will also be the chance to ask questions and Jimmy and Martin will both be signing merchandise after the show.

Jimmy said: "It's a stand-up show full of funny stories about football. You don't have to like football to enjoy it and you certainly don't have to be a football anorak. It's not scripted and it's an adult show."

The show starts at 7.45pm.

Tickets, at £16.50, are available from the box office on 08700 131 030 or online at www.gordon-craig.co.uk
