STACY Long is hopeful of being fit for Saturday’s FA Cup Fourth Round clash with Reading.

The midfielder was forced to miss Boro’s last two league games after suffering a dead leg in training a day before the 2-0 win over Morecombe but should now be fit to play a part against the Royals.

It would be a timely boost for manager Graham Westley who is likely to have to make changes in midfield after John Mousinho limped out of Tuesday’s win against Rotherham and is looking doubtful, although Westley says the physios are doing all they can to get him fit.
