Boro have several injury doubts ahead of the bank holiday fixtures.

For Saturday's trip to Ebbsfleet United, Mitchell Cole is unlikely to be fit, David Bridges is out long term with a broken foot, Lee Boylan is likely to be missing, Gary Mills may be okay after illness but Anthony Thomas has missed training and is a doubt.

Steve Morison is serving the last of his three-match suspension at Ebbsfleet but is available for Monday's visit of Crawley Town.

* The on-off transfer saga of Craig Westcarr has been resolved.

Boro and previous club Kettering have agreed terms for Westcarr to return to the Poppies.

The striker was signed back in May when it seemed certain that top scorer Morison was moving to a League One club. With Morison staying, Westcarr has not featured in the 16 in any of the three opening games.

No fees will be payable by either club for either of the moves.

* Five Boro youngsters have gone out on loan to gain first-team match experience.

Scott Balderson and Zak Burke have been loaned to Bognor Regis Town, George Brinkman to Arlesey Town, Elliot Buchanan to Boreham Wood and Jack Bradshaw to Maidenhead United.
