BORO made it four wins out of four this season against Grays - but Saturday was the most nerve-wracking of the quartet.

Boss Mark Stimson admitted: "We didn't play well but it's all about results in games like this.

"We weren't at our best and we never got the ball up to Steve Morison enough where he's so dangerous.

"I knew Grays, as the holders, were not going to give up without a fight.

"We didn't get the ball down and play until extra time.

"The extra-time period showed our fitness and the sending off obviously weakened them."

First goalscorer Luke Oliver was only playing due to a suspension for Santos Gaia but performed well.

Stimson continued: "Luke has held his own against a pacy front two.

"He's 6ft 7ins and will always be a threat at set pieces and so it proved.
