A Stevenage teenager is hot property in local refereeing circles.
Callum Rowe became an FA qualified referee in May this year after taking exams at the North Hertfordshire College.
The 15-year-old, a student at the Barclay School in Stevenage, has wasted little time in putting his skills to good use.
He has been in great demand, refereeing local games and tournaments and inter-school games.
Callum has been awarded a grant from Stevenage Borough Council for outstanding effort in community sports, and he is taking further FA referee training at the Arsenal and Watford Academy in Walthamstow.
He is still playing on the pitch as well, representing Fairlands Youth under-15s who are managed by Simon Gentleman.
