William Ransom Primary School were crowned champions at the district lacrosse finals last Thursday. Their final opponents were Codicote and the Hitchin school won 12-5. They now go forward to represent this area in the regional finals at the University of
William Ransom Primary School were crowned champions at the district lacrosse finals last Thursday.
Their final opponents were Codicote and the Hitchin school won 12-5.
They now go forward to represent this area in the regional finals at the University of Hertfordshire at Hatfield on March 29.
This year's team are hoping to emulate the success of 2006 when William Ransom became national champions and were also featured on Anglia Television.
Other schools taking part included Samuel Lucas, St Ippolyts, Wilshere Dacre and St Andrews.
