IN the Southern League Premier Division, Hitchin Town crashed 3-0 at league leaders Salisbury City, who took a step further towards sealing the title.

IN Division One East of the Ryman League, Paul Bloss scored 15 minutes from time to earn Arlesey Town the points against Play-Off hopefuls Waltham Forest.

STRUGGLING Langford went down 3-1 at home to Minerva Spartan South Midlands League leaders Oxford City, while Biggleswade United lost 3-0 at home to Leverstock Green. Biggleswade Town played out a goalless draw at home to Aylesbury Vale. In Division One, Arlesey Athletic shared a 1-1 draw with New Bradwell St Peter.

IT'S tight at the top of the Eagle Bitter United Counties League. Potton United were without a game at the weekend and lost their place at the top of the table when Woodford United beat St Neots to edge a point clear of The Royals. Northampton Spencer are a further point behind in third place after beating Buckingham 4-1.
