TWO British Lions graced the annual sponsors' dinner at Hitchin Rugby Club.
Former Wales captain Scott Quinnell, capped more than 50 times by his country at number eight, was one of the guest speakers for the evening last Wednesday.
Also there, solely as an invited guest, was the Ireland and Saracens hooker Shane Byrne.
The president of the Herts RFU, Les Clark, was the other main speaker.
Roy Shooter, Hitchin Rugby Club's sponsorship chairman, said: "We've had a lot of positive feedback from the night.
"It's all about rewarding our existing sponsors and looking to get potential new ones on board for the future. I hope we've succeeded on both counts.
