A large crowd were thoroughly entertained at Arlesey Town as Crown Stotfold battled it out with PJ Hitchin in the George John Memorial Trophy final on Sunday night.

A great individual goal from Wes Byrne and a Nick Lewis penalty gave the Stotfold side a 2-1 victory and completed the second part of a potential treble as they continue to battle for the league title.

Red Star ICL will travel to Whitwell for their last game of the season knowing that victory will secure the title from Cannon after both sides got maximum points at the weekend.

Red Star were 5-2 winners against Engineers Henlow, Shaun Turner, Rav Hayer, Dean Gilbert, Leon Ettienne and Chris Reeves scoring for Red Star while Eddie Fannon and Jim Gentry replied for the Engineers.

Cannon kept up the chase with a 3-1 home victory against Stotfold Sunday thanks to goals from Scott Halsey, Robbie Somers and Rhys Davies.

John Bonner May scored for AC Malone but proved to be the only high spot of the morning as Kcinsatop emerged 5-1 victors.

In Division One, AEK Letchworth thumped HTS Barleycorn Res 5-0, Julian Rudder, Matt Bond, Keith Milburn and two-goal Micky Smith on target.

Goals from Alex Fern and Craig Skelton earned Angels Reply a point after a 2-2 draw with Offley Parish.

SMU travelled to Ocean's Eleven and won 2-1, while Wanderers beat Cannon Res 1-0 with a goal from Jas Badeshia.

Whitwell Res scored six without reply when they travelled to Walsworth and this time went one better as they hit seven in the return match, John Harris (two), Tony Webb (hat-trick), Lee French and Andrew McEwan the scorers.

In Division Two, George and Dragon secured the title after they won and then drew their double header with Shillington.

The first game ended 2-0 to the George and Dragon, Adam Shelley and Danny Bennett scoring, before the reverse fixture ended goal-less.

The Park travelled to Radcliffe Arms and picked up another three points thanks to goals from Aaron Harlly (two), Ben Keller and Grant Keller.

Steven Young (two) and Chris Tembey scored for Broadmead as they enjoyed a 3-2 home win against Paynes Park (Brian Humphries and Steven Oakman).

Dynamo Letchworth were 6-1 winners at home to The Five Bells, Liam Garrett (two), James Collins (two), Bill Kochrider and Dan Larkin with the goals.
