There were an impressive 42 entries for Richard's Trampoline Club at the Phoenix Flyers Open competition in Enfield.

This competition catered for everyone from beginners to national grade one standard with nearly 400 entries overall.

At grade one, Lauren Jones performed some good routines using a slightly reduced difficulty and she finished in second place.

Elliot Stratton struggled during his voluntary routine but still walked away in third place.

He will be looking to improve upon his performance at the national championships next month.

At grade two, Charlie Mussino did some of his best routines and easily won first place.

Lisa Withey was in a difficult group but kept her concentration and finished in third.

Natasha Rastogi did well, having done minimal training due to her studies, and narrowly missed out on a medal to finish in fourth.

There was plenty of success at grade four.

Lauren Doherty performed both her routines excellently and easily won first place.

Michael Sheff was also on good form and finished in first place.

Emma Ramsey finished in first place as well and all three of them are showing their readiness for grade three.

Neil Palmer and Gail Williams both finished in second place.

The success continued at grade five.

Jo Collins did two superb routines to finish in first place in her first competition with the club after recently joining.

Rebecca Bradwell showed great determination in her routines and this gained her a deserved second.

Sophie Perks and Rebecca Hales both did well to finish in third place. Katherine Crone, Lauren Bell and Hales also won team first.

There was even more success for the club at grade six.

Mikki Hackney showed her usual good form and finished in first, as did Josh Massey and George Eva. Charlotte Smart narrowly missed out on a medal in fourth place.

Hazel Childs, Emily Evans and Penny Prime won team first, as did Vicky Newton, Annabelle Cummings, Emma Deering and Verity Scott. Tayla Green, Jennifer McIntosh, Charlotte Smart and Hannah Burlison won team second.
