The North Herts Football League

The top two sides made it to the final of the Premier Division Cup.

Woolmer Green ended Kimpton's cup run when they beat them 4-2.

A brace from Gary Petersen led the way and an own goal and a James Brewster strike put Woolmer into the final. Goals from Craig Barnes and Sam Gibbs were not enough for Kimpton.

The other semi-final was a physical game and league champions St Ippolyts went through 5-2 against Codicote A in their effort for a league and cup double.

Ryan Foster scored a couple and Saints' other goals came from Nathan Hayden, Mandel Mullings and Stuart Potasnick. Codicote A replied through Simon Bayston and Lee Digby.

Baldock Res and Fairlands will contest the Division One Cup final.

In the semis, Baldock Res won the top clash against Wilbury Wanderers 5-2.

A couple for Adam Shelley and other goals from Cameron Brawley, Michael Masters and an own goal saw Baldock Res into the final. Jason Kitchener and Dean Smith scored for Wilbury.

Fairlands won a close encounter against City Hearts by the odd goal in three with a late winner from Wayne Cowan. Their other goal came from Kenny Liggett. City Hearts' only goal came from Gareth Brown.

In the Benevolent Shield Group B, Premier Division Whitwell Village became the second team to make the semi-finals.

They made it four wins out of four with a comfortable 6-1 win against fellow Premier side Baldock.

Wayne Mullooly led the way with a hat-trick and the other scorers were Thomas Farrelly, Kevin Gould and John Harris. Robert Foster scored Baldock's consolation goal.

First Division AFC Santos claimed their second victory against Premier opposition when they defeated Bedwell Rangers 3-1. Matt Arlick, Nuno Canteiro and Steven Gibbons did the damage. Alex Robertson scored for Bedwell Rangers.

In Group C, Cricketers Weston were unable to raise a side for the second week running so Stevenage Council Club were awarded the game.
