Paul Warwick went all the way in claiming the Graham Parcell Memorial Cup in the competition held recently at Arlesey Town Football Club.

The Bletchley man was forced to go the full distance of all five legs before overcoming Londoner Paul Davies in a pulsating final.

Each player produced scores of a hundred plus with nearly every throw of three darts.

The 10th year of the competition definitely produced a level of darts not seen in the area for many years.

Eighteen scores of the maximum 180 were recorded on the night.

Surprises came thick and fast as many big names exited in the early stages including defending champion Trevor Ellacott.

Warwick also collected the highest checkout trophy with 146.

The competition also doubles as a fundraiser and £660 was donated to the British Heart Foundation. This money was accepted by Karen Catchpole on behalf of the charity.
