MEMORIES of a decade ago came flooding back at Broadhall Way on Friday night.
Boro Legends, featuring the majority of the Conference winning side from 1996, shared six goals with an Arsenal Celebrity XI.
Players came from all over the world including Des Gallagher (Australia), Robbie Mutchell (Abu Dhabi) and Steve Berry (France).
League stars Barry Hayles and Efe Sodje were unable to play due to injury but were still there on the night.
Championship winning boss Paul Fairclough was unable to attend as his current side Barnet were playing an important match the following day.
The match was organised as part of the Stevenage campaign for Britain in Bloom.
Celebrity gardener Tommy Walsh and actor Ralf Little played for the Gunners.
