Double winners White Hart produced one of their best displays of the season to thrash bottom of the table Westwell 10-0.

Veteran striker Simon Braine hit five in the Division One North clash to complete White Hart's fine debut season in the North and Mid Herts League.

The match was effectively over as a contest after only 40 minutes as White Hart were already two goals up.

The deadlock was broken in the 30th minute when Braine scored from six yards and five minutes later, White Hart doubled their lead when Braine scored gain. It was 3-0 eight minutes after the break when Braine got his hat-trick after a low strike.

A Westwell defender then scored an own goal after he unleashed a 25-yard volley into his own net. Braine made it five on the hour mark and minutes later, Ollie Rowerth made it six.

Some good work from 'Fred' Errington allowed 'Ned' Wickham to score from close range for the seventh.

Rampant White Hart made it 8-0 in the 75th minute when Braine grabbed his fifth goal of the afternoon.

Two more goals followed and the scoring was completed when Lloyd McTigue's strike from just inside the penalty area made it double figures.

The league has three divisions including the Premier Division, which is a feeder to the Herts Senior County League.

It was only formed in the summer of 2006 by the merger of the Mid-Herts League and the North Herts League.
