The second Comet Cup of 2006 at Hitchin Snooker Club was a marathon affair involving 16 entrants.
Paul Andrews won the competition - which did not finish until 3am on the Monday morning! - and which was played over four rounds.
The four semi-finalists were Jeff Hossieni, Bob Gorden, Jim Scott and Paul Andrews.
The prize money for this competition totalled £210, with Andrews winning £130, beaten finalist Scott £60 and Hossieni and Gorden £10 each.
The Comet Cup is played on the last Sunday of every month and costs £20 to enter. A large buffet is provided for all entrants.
