TWO Thai kickboxers from the Minotaur Gym in Hitchin were no fools at the weekend.
Tony Livings and Anwar Kassasa fought East Area fighters in the show at Bedford Corn Exchange on Sunday.
Livings won his 74kgs fight against Kevin Anderson by a unanimous points decision after forcing his opponent to take a standing eight count in the last round.
Anwar Kassasa also defeated Junior Herbert at the same weight category. Already ahead, Kassasa finished stronger to take a unanimous points decision.
There was also a fine first outing for Ross Crawford at 60kgs in Cambridge on Saturday against an opponent from the reputable Dean White Gym in Leeds.
* The East Area show at Bedford had special guests in heavyweight champion Matt Skelton and five-time world Thai boxing champion master Ronnie Green.

Hitchin's Hallum Best from the host East Area club wowed the audience with his dynamic display of speed, strength and power.
Fighting at 79kgs in five two-minute rounds, Hallum overpowered East West Thai fighter Karl Mead.
Hallum produced his best display to date with outstanding techniques and amazing stamina to become the new regional champion.
