Stotfold Football Club hope a new manager will be their cup of tea this time.

Mark Teeling has taken charge of first team affairs at Roker Park.

He succeeds Glen Clark, who quit before the Rokermen had even started the season.

An FA licensed coach, Teeling has been coaching the Eagles' under-18 academy this season, and was previously with both Watford and more recently Hitchin's academy under Darren Salton.

Stotfold chairman Phil Pateman said: "It is well known that we are looking to develop young local players through into senior football.

"This can only be achieved if we have the right management and coaching structure, supported with a strong spine of experienced senior players to help their development. This is something that cannot be achieved overnight, but Mark shares our vision and has the right credentials to deliver it. I am delighted he has accepted the role.
