No Stevenage batsman made a significant contribution until Adil Zargar scored his fourth consecutive fifty.

He was left stranded not out on 63 with Stevenage short by 44 runs on 194-8.

Stroomer completed a fine all-round match by taking 4-52 in 14 overs.

Datchworth were 120-0 with 16 overs to go and in with a shout of victory.

Skipper Phil Ashby claimed four wickets in quick time as Datchworth began to struggle and they decided to play for a draw.
