Nearly 50 bowlers from Riverain IBC went on tour to Bournemouth over the weekend.

Organiser Don Edwards and his wife Pam were pleased with the record of two wins and two losses.

Riverain lost by 13 shots (131-118) to Bournemouth on Friday.

Skips scores: S Mumford lost 18-22, S Skinner lost 20-22, D Webb won 26-17, P Barritt lost 13-33, R Clay 21-15, K Maxwell 20-22.

They then beat East Dorset by six shots (115-109) the next day.

Skips scores: C Brown lost 10-23, R Hughes won 33-10, S Hughes won 19-14, D Edwards won 24-11, J Smith won 18-16, J Baird lost 11-35.

Riverain were convincing 35-shot (131-96) winners over Banister Park in Sunday's game.

Skips scores: S Skinner won 17-16, D Webb lost 17-19, K Maxwell won 30-12, S Mumford won 26-20, P Barritt 23-13, M Dean won 18-16.

The club went down by 26 shots (173-147) versus Lodden Vale in Monday's final match.
