The England Deaf Rugby squad are being managed again by Knebworth's Andy Stonehouse.
Stonehouse, a member of Hitchin Rugby Club, was delighted as his charges won 33-14 at Wellingborough on Sunday against Northants Police XV.
This was a much improved performance from last year when they lost to the same team 65-7.
They included six new faces including one who played for the Herts county under-20s and under-23s last year.
