Stevenage Ladies moved another step closer to promotion with their 2-0 victory over mid-table Yarmouth.
With a full squad available and promotion within reach, spirits were high.
Both teams started well but it was the consistent stream of pressure from the attacking Stevenage side that allowed defender Jo Biggs to come forward and strike at goal.
This was half saved by the goalkeeper but still ended up in the back of the net as Stevenage led at the break.
Yarmouth remained resilient against the strong Stevenage attack but could not stop player of the match Heather Hemmings from storming through to score a precise goal from an almost impossible angle.
There were no further goals and Stevenage now wait on the remaining matches in the north and south divisions before being assured of promotion.
