TWO Stevenage youngsters have helped Hertfordshire to national squash success.
Louis Drakes (pictured above, left) and Nathan Derrick, both 14, were part of the six-strong Herts team which became national inter-counties under-15 champions at Lee-on-Solent, Hampshire.
The boys both had 3-0 victories in the final against Yorkshire as Herts won 3-2 overall.
This was after defeating Gloucestershire 4-1 in the semis and it followed several heats over previous weeks.
Louis who goes to Thomas Alleyne School and Barclay School pupil Nathan are both coached by their respective dads. They are both members of the Energie (formerly r3) squash club in Stevenage.
