Stevenage Boro Juniors under-nine Blues squad must be the best looking squad in the area!

Thanks to the generosity of a local business they are probably the warmest as well, making full use of striking new tracksuits provided by Fusions (UK) Ltd.

Director John Whittaker said: "I was brought up and raised and am still living in Stevenage, and I always like, through my business, to contribute and help out in putting something back into the local community."

He added: "The thing I remember most about sport at school when I was a kid was how cold it can be in the winter months and the benefit of a tracksuit, let alone a good quality one!

"Having the team turning out in uniform represents the beginning of a well organised outfit and makes the kids look smart, apart from keeping them warm."

The team plays in the Royston Crow Youth League and are progressing well, providing regular football for 22 squad members, perhaps the biggest squad in the league.

Manager Steve Watkins said: "We have to rely on the generosity of parents and local business to provide us with this sort of equipment.

"We are really thankful of John and his company for his kind assistance and we are pleased to be associated with Fusions (UK) Ltd."
