BALDOCK II slumped to a five wicket defeat in a high scoring match with Cockfosters III.

Baldock scored a respectable 232-8 with Richie Waters scoring an impressive 77. Pete Tiley added 27, Mark Lewis 29 and Duncan Lewis 20.

Despite some excellent bowling, Cockfosters managed to reach a winning total of 233 to win by five wickets.

Ickleford IIs were comprehensively beaten by Old Cholmelians.

Batting first Ickleford made 207-4 with Steve Schumann again the batting star with an excellent 75.

Tony Martin made 32 and Raj Devitt 34 no. But the old boys made light of their victory target and cruised to 209-2.

Ickleford made light work of chasing Weston's 175 on Sunday. Sam Giggle slammed 62 and John Clark 54 no and Duncan Jenner 59 no to steer Ickleford home with 12 overs to spare
