Three local players featured as Herts A XV, made up principally of players from level seven and below, continued their ascendancy over their Middlesex counterparts at Harrow last Wednesday.

In winning 35-17, they completed their fifth successive victory since the series started again.

Herts included Hitchin's James Scott and Stevenage Town captain Neil Bamber along with Scott's team-mate Joff Lord.

Scott crossed the line for a try and Lord won one against the head when he entered the fray.
