Club also celebrating having two players making an impact in London Broncos set-up

North Herts Crusaders have their senior player launch evening next Wednesday.

The club would like to invite current open age players and anyone who would like to try rugby league to the evening.

Anyone over the age of 16 can play, and the club has quality coaching in place to help introduce new players to the sport as well as improve current squad members.

The launch evening takes place at Hitchin Rugby Club, King George V Playing Fields, Old Hale Way, Hitchin at 7.15pm.

The club’s U15s kicked off the new season in the London Junior League against Southend Spartans, but their opponents scored the only try of the game to win 4-0.

The U17s took on Hemel Stags in a warm-up game to the new season following a late fixture reshuffle, and won 38-10. The club kicks off the new season at home to Medway Dragons this weekend.

Two Crusaders in the London Broncos professional setup are representing themselves and the club well.

Jordan Williams scored his first professional try on Saturday for London Broncos U19s at Wigan Warriors. The Broncos lost the game 44-16.

Jaden Elley-Murphy has been playing in the scholarship side and has played in all three of their games this season. Reports back to the club suggest he is acquitting himself well at the higher level.
