THE monsoon conditions meant a total washout in Sunday's Broadview Windows North Herts League fixtures.

Not a ball was bowled in the eight scheduled matches in Division One and Division Two.

P There was also precious little cricket for Henlow either.

The first team's match at Luton Caribbeans was abandoned after seven overs with the hosts on 6-0.

Rain also caused the second team's game at home to Caldecote 2nds to be stopped with the visitors on 101-2 off 22 overs.

Both Beds League games on Sunday were off without a ball being bowled.

P Letchworth Corinthians beat Codicote by just two wickets in an another close game on Saturday.

Cadicote batted first and managed 124 all out. Tom Smith dominated their innings with 54 and Roger Coates claimed 4-25.

Corinthians looked in trouble at 55-5 in reply but excellent late partnerships saw them home with 14 balls remaining.

Anthony Wood top scored with 40 while Richard Cropley hit a quick 20 in their 44-run sixth wicket stand. Jim Collins and Mark Nelson both finished unbeaten on a dozen to see their side to victory.
