Preston stay top after Jack Stevens stars with bat and ball

Preston continued their winning form and stayed top of SHCL Division Two A thanks to a comfortable 73-run victory over Northwood.
They were put into bat and made Northwood regret that with a big 273-6.
The early loss of James Stevens meant brother Jack and Lewis Balcombe had to knuckle down, with the pair adding 57 runs for the second wicket.
Balcombe went for a well-constructed 43 but Dom Baldwin (31) joined Stevens to add a further 109 for the third wicket.
But Stevens was the star, completing his second league century of the season before finally falling for 125.
Northwood reached 77-0 after 20 overs but the introduction of slow bowlers Pete Murrell (2-29) and Dave Fleckney (2-35) saw the run rate slow.
Northwood still had a chance of victory with 15 overs to go but Preston skipper Max Anderson (3-31) and man of the match Stevens (3-17) ensured they were all out for 200.
