They can't train at the moment but they can still plan and prepare - and there is plenty of that going on at Preston Cricket Club ahead of the 2021 season.
Last year should have been the club's first full year in the Herts Cricket League Championship but they only managed half of the campaign, winning three and losing three of the nine matches.
Max Anderson and Jack Morecroft will continue in their roles as club captain and vice captain.
The second team will feature in Division Six A and the plan is to continue providing opportunities for younger players to develop further up the club ranks.
The thirds will go for a mixture of youth and experience and there will be a fourth team as well, playing in Division 10 B, and two Sunday sides.
Junior cricket will continue to be a big focus of the club with training set to commence in the spring.
The club are also more than happy to welcome new players looking for local, competitive cricket.
