It was a typical cup day on Sunday - full of fireworks!

Dun Cow set up a Premier Division Cup semi-final encounter with Rileys this Sunday after a comfortable win over Stevenage Fencing, for whom Sam Gittings grabbed a consolation. Dave Kiddie, Shaun Marshall, Adam Furness and Danny Lane hit the net.

There was the lot in the Division One Cup with extra time, sending-offs, offside goals and last-minute goals.

Sporting battled gallantly for 90 minutes with 10 men against FCFL. They even had the ball in the net courtesy of Ross Gormer with five minutes remaining but they felt the raised flag was harsh.

FCFL then took full advantage in extra time, where Sporting's player count became eight due to dismissals. Ben Shearing, Dan Gregory and Kenny Slack did the job.

In the other semi-final, MBDA immediately built on a Rising Sun sending-off with 20 minutes remaining when Gav Bowler lobbed home from 35 yards. Sun equalised through Kaan Fehmi, and despite another dismissal, they amazingly won it when Fehmi's trickery provided Tom Hillard with the winner at the back post in the final minute of normal time. It is their third successive divisional cup final, previously under the guise of Pig and Whistle.

Breachwood Lions also made their third successive divisional cup final. James Wyatt slotted home from the edge of the box inside five minutes to give King Pin United the lead before an equaliser from Ali Collins who lobbed the keeper from 35 yards.

After hitting the bar, Collins scored again after the keeper made a reflex save from an Ian Canning header. They combined again as Canning netted after Collins' shot was saved. Adam Burnage put the game beyond doubt before a mere consolation by way of Nick Collins' header.

Station ended SBS' winning streak to reach the final as Micky Simpson scored the opener. Martin Preedy added the second before Ian Woodfield struck a hat-trick. SBS, who had Oliver May dismissed for the second successive week, replied with a Michael Hatch brace.

Form side Pin Green made the Division Three Cup final in a rough game. The opener came as Sean Soards blasted the ball into the bottom corner from an angle. Captain Dave Baldwin headed home before Paul Ryan added another from a deflected free-kick. Richard Griffiths netted before Colin Field ran in to drive home a cross at the back post.

Broadhall Res replied through Steve Stapleton before Lee Stevens took the ball down on his chest and slotted home for the final goal.

Fox won the battle of the unlikely semi-finalists. Kevin Ward put them in front with a header, Craig Benham's 30-yard free-kick doubled the half-time lead. White Horse replied through Pete Summers and Gary Leask before Greg Bradbury won it in the last minute with a shot through a defender's legs.

The Premier Division title hopes of Bottles took a real dent as despite a strike from Ricky Lawrence, they were roundly beaten by Nirankari Sports Sabha. Another hat-trick from Mark Barnes and a Ben l'honore brace against his old club did the damage.

All the Division Two action was at the bottom. RD Newcotech clawed themselves off the foot at the expense of victims Newman. Marc Brett finished off a punt up field from keeper Andy Gibb and Simon Broom added the second.

ProCladd again started with less than 11 men, right-back turned striker George Rowe helped himself to four more, Danny Halliday (hat-trick) and Dave Locke also netted as they walloped Marquis of Lorne who replied through Carl Thompson and Ant Alcock.

Division Three sees new leaders after long-time benchmarks Granby St George were finally knocked off their perch.

Hogshead thrashed 10-man North Herts Celtic thanks to a Jamie Campany hat-trick on his return from a five-week suspension. New signing Calvert Garnes added another two as did Ricky Dowse. Andy Somers and a wonder strike from 35 yards from Lee Dowsett finished it off.

In the Invitation Cup, Division Two leaders Coopers' two-goal advantage was wiped out as goalkeeper James Barrett helped the ball over the line and Aaron Mason curled the ball home from the edge of box for Bedwell Athletic. Goals come like buses as the clincher came from last week's scorer James Blythe. He hit the ball perfectly from the edge of the box and it flew just inside the post.

Granby St George's three-goal advantage was too much for Broadhall. Grant Sullivan got the winner on the day to add to his earlier goal after Dan Pinkerton had equalised via a defender.

White Diamond Security did themselves proud to draw on the day and win overall thanks to goals from James McColm, John Abnett and an own goal against Division One champions Mallard for whom Craig Reynolds (two) and Ian Baker were target.

MC Racing's tie with Rileys had a sour note. Their player-manager Ian Cant, 37 on Saturday, broke his leg in a tackle.

Up to that point, the bottom side in the entire league were holding their own against their Premier Division opponents. Tom Kelly had equalised on the day after a third own goal in the short career of MC keeper Richard Edwards from Michael Wenn's cross.

Ian's departure came before Paul Orchard's penalty put Rileys back in front on the day. James Khakpour-Smith (two), Nikki Clements' 25-yard strike, Keith Swift and sub Adrian Wenn finished the job.
