Andy Payne's 6-31 including a hat-trick to wrap the innings up was the highlight as Green were kept to 156.

St Joseph's were restricted to 203-6 with Henry Snowden taking 3-39.

Ickleford got home by five wickets thanks to Craig Millwood (76) and Brett Blaker (41).

Ickleford Cricketers sunk Titanic in the same division.

Cricketers' total of 153 was almost entirely down to opener Tim Porter's excellent 87no which contained four sixes.

Barry Males added 24 and then continued his fine early season form with 4-17 in nine overs while spinner Richard Starkey took 3-33 as Titanic fell short on 135.

Datchworth were too strong for Rosslyn.

Rosslyn elected to bat and were 11-3 from 11 overs. Datchworth used the opportunity to bowl some of their younger players, Terry Smith and Jon Wedge.

Opening bowler Alex Langford had astounding figures of 6-5-1-1 and his partner Chris Blackham 7-4-7-2.

Chasing 155 to win, Langford also performed with the bat, opening the innings and finishing 92no as they reached the target with two overs to spare.

Mark Waters (4-27 from 14 overs) and David Fleckney (4-45 in 23 overs) were the pick of Preston's bowling.

The seconds had a pleasing win against their counterparts from Botany Bay.

A partnership of 75 between Dave Saunders (52) and Chris Newell (29) led the way but the highlight of Preston's 165-5 was an outstanding 47 from 14-year-old prospect Jack Byford.

Another 14-year-old, Callum Blair, took two quick wickets before Bob Hearne bamboozled the visitors with his spin (6-18) to set up a 65-run victory.
