Three Stevenage Striders took on the Maidenhead 10 on Good Friday, cheered on by Prime Minister Theresa May.

Chris Leigh came home in a season's best 1:22.17, as Sue Leigh (1:37.11) set an age graded best and Charlotte Leigh (2:12.48) also ran a PB.

Glenn Cuzner finished 58th at the St Albans 10K with Stuart Cuzner, Darren March, Sharon Franklin and Louise March were also in a field of 608.

Good Friday saw Davie Stafford ran a marathon in 4:41:50 with his daughter alongside him in a buggy.

And other Striders took on parkrun challenges, with Steve Wells (18.56) in Exmouth and Alan Watt (22.43) in Hartlepool.

A good number were in action at Stevenage with Karl Sparks leading them home in 21.59 followed by Darren March (22.21) and Richard Bates (29.08).

Gill Phillpotts was just 19 seconds outside the 30-minute mark.
