BORIS Chambon of FVS TRI was in scorching form in the heat when he destroyed the field in the last in the series of three Bedford Sprint Triathlons at the weekend.

Boris completed the event under the hour for only the second time in the race's history.

Not only did Boris win the race but he also lifted the series title winning a superb set of race wheels worth over £600.

Jane Chappell made a stunning triathlon debut and was first female home for FVS TRI.

There were also group wins for Helen Shulver 30:34, Alison Wood 40:44 in only her second race, Sarah Bryce 45:49 and Chris Penfold 55:59 making it a fantastic turnout of 17 FVS TRI members making them the biggest club in the race.
