KICKBOXING champ Nick Gill from Stevenage is out to prove he is number one this weekend.
A former winner of the sportsman of the year category at The Comet Sports Awards, Gill has a 10-round fight to determine the number one welterweight in the country this Saturday in Hove.
His opponent is Jason Vassallo, the current WKA world champion.
This is billed as the fight of the year and people from all over the country are expected to see this one.
Gill featured on the front cover of the April edition (above) of one of the leading martial arts magazines Fighters and there was a two-page piece on the fight inside.
