John Henry Newman's Year Nine netball teams dominated the Stevenage and North Herts schools' tournament.

The B team defeated Barnwell in the plate final of the competition, while their A team beat St Francis College in the final.

This means their A team remain undefeated in Stevenage and North Herts in the three years that they have played together.

Head of PE, Jo Mackin, said: "This is an outstanding achievement that is underpinned by the team's hard work and commitment to training."

Pictured are the A team (white bibs) - Amber Clayden, Ikera Williams, Lindsey Sherar, Megan McDevitt, Lauren Jones, Jade Fernandez, Amelia Costin and Courtnee O'Neil.

And the B team (wearing red ones) - Mary McCaul, Laura Deering, Norelle Kolano, Beth Jemark, Olivia Azadegan, Hannah Colgan, Elizabeth Cummins and Chloe Gunn.
