The mini tennis teams at Letchworth Tennis Club have had a fantastic start to 2006 with an unbeaten record at all three levels!
The red under-eight team, Letchworth Lobbers, had a good start in their local indoor box league with a convincing 109-42 points win over Stevenage's Lister Tennis Club.
The team of David Stevenson, Sam Tomlinson, Imogen Magner and Alice Turner will next play Welwyn.
In the Beds League, Letchworth enter two teams at each of the three mini tennis levels of red, orange and green.
Six matches out of six have been won in January, and the first green team are set to retain their title as holders of the top division with three wins out of three and only two matches to go!
Congratulations to the youngsters and a thank you to the parents who have helped with the organising.
