The boys went on tour to Barcelona and won 29-5 against a host team drawn from a mixture of Quimic RFC and another local side Poble Nou Engineers.
The game was played over three 25-minute periods.
In a return trip, Quimic under-16s are coming over to England tomorrow (Friday) until Sunday.
They will play against their Datchworth counterparts again this Saturday and will play against Stevenage under-16s at Datchworth on Sunday.
A Datchworth club spokesman said: "They were fantastic hosts and we all hope we can make their visit to us as enjoyable for them!"
