It is sure to be a great sporting weekend in Biggleswade early next month.
A day before the World Cup final in Germany on July 9, the 56th annual athletic and grass track cycling racing meeting will take place at Fairfield sports ground.
The action starts at 1.30pm on Saturday, July 8.
Entry is free for the grass track athletics and medals and prizes will be awarded.
There are 50m and 75m races for children aged 10 and under, and 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, relays, javelin and shot for the older age groups (10 years, 11-12, 13-14, 15-17, seniors and veterans).
The cycle track racing is run by Fenland Clarion CC and include national series and schoolboys and girls' races.
