The Three Magnets pub in Letchworth GC has recently sponsored a local table tennis coaching project.

The financial support given by The Three Magnets pub, part of the JD Wetherspoon chain, will go towards promoting and running the scheme for the 2006-7 season.

This project was originally set up two years ago under the auspices of Wymondley Table Tennis Club via a start-up grant from the National Lottery's Awards for All.

Project leader David Kells can be seen accepting the sponsorship money from The Three Magnets manager Mark Curtis who said that he was pleased on behalf of JD Wetherspoon to be seen to be supporting local sport.
