SHARPSHOOTER Luke Green created a new goalscoring record for Stotfold Juniors.
The 13-year-old from Stotfold, who goes to The John Henry Newman School in Stevenage, scored SEVEN times for Stotfold under-14s in their recent 10-2 win over Sawbridgeworth.
It is believed to be a new club record for the Stotfold Juniors.
Luke is also top scorer overall for the whole club.
He has scored more than half his side's goals this season - the ace marksman has netted 28 times with another 27 combined from his team-mates.
But it is certainly a team effort from all the boys.
Alex Best and James Tear have been solid at the back with Luke Cleverly strong in midfield.
Goalkeeper Dean Bainbridge is moving up in the 'Safe Hands' award and is lying third at the moment.
