A Letchworth Garden City teenager is swimming for Great Britain this summer. Rachael George, a 15-year-old who goes to Highfield School, has been selected for the European Junior Championships in Palma, Majorca. She will be competing in the 200m freestyle

A Letchworth Garden City teenager is swimming for Great Britain this summer.

Rachael George, a 15-year-old who goes to Highfield School, has been selected for the European Junior Championships in Palma, Majorca.

She will be competing in the 200m freestyle individual race and be part of the girls' 4x200m freestyle relay.

It is the second year Rachael (pictured left) has competed for Great Britain.

She is a member of the British Swimming Youth Squad and has been trained by GB coach Nick Juba since she was nine at the top club in Hertfordshire, Hatfield.
