Hitchin Sunday League new boys AEK Letchworth finally bowed out of the Herts Sunday Junior Cup at the quarter-final stage.

In the Challenge Cup, Bar Absolute Willian booked their place in the quarter-finals after an exciting 3-2 win at home to last year's beaten finalists Whitwell.

Lee Smith, Ian Napier and Jeff King were the Bar Absolute scorers. Paul Ody and Wes Batten replied for Whitwell.
